ALPHY

Case Studies

Your restaurant's window is a phone screen now

People see you on Instagram, Google and a delivery app long before they sit down. We build the photography, video and social cadence for those three screens.

Typical Problems

  • 01

The photos are shot on a phone under yellow ceiling light. The plate looks good on the table and disappears on a screen — same dish, wrong light, different thing entirely.

  • 02

There is not one moving image on hand. Holding a place in a feed built around Reels and TikTok gets harder every month with stills alone.

  • 03

Social gets remembered once a month, because there is never a stock of ready material. The menu changes, a promotion launches, and there is nothing on hand to post.

Example site layout

What we would build for restaurants

A restaurant site's job is not to show the menu — it is to get someone through the door. This example layout shows which section belongs where and why, and where the photographs we shoot actually sit once the site is built.

Concept

This layout is a concept drawn by Alphy Studio to explain how we approach restaurants sites. It is not client work, and no menu, price or review inside it is real.

  1. 01

    Header

Menu, location, reservation. The reservation button is the only coloured element, and it stays visible wherever you are on the page.

  2. 02

    Opening: one plate, one line

The first screen on a phone. One dish shot in the right light and one line saying what kind of place this is — not a crowded slideshow.

  3. 03

    Signature dishes

Best sellers and highest-margin plates first. The same shoot feeds the delivery apps, so the site and the app show the same plate.

  4. 04

    Room and kitchen

“What is it like inside?” gets asked before the booking. A few frames of the room, the bar and the kitchen answer it before anyone arrives.

  5. 05

    Reviews

Reviews are pulled from where they already live — Google and the delivery apps. None are written for the site.

  6. 06

    Location, hours and contact

The most-searched information on any restaurant site. On a phone the address opens the map and the number dials, in one tap.

  7. 07

    Footer

Social accounts and delivery-app links, so a visit that ends on the site continues on the channels you actually post to.

FAQ

Do we have to close the restaurant for the shoot?

No. We schedule around service — usually before opening or between the lunch and dinner shifts. Plates come out of the kitchen exactly as they normally would; we do not rearrange how the kitchen works.

Do you shoot the entire menu?

Not all of it at once. We start with the best sellers and the highest-margin dishes — that is where the money is, so that is where the pictures are needed first. How many dishes and how many days is settled in the free intro call and written plainly in the quote PDF; we do not leave it to guesswork.

Can I use the photos on delivery apps and my Google profile too?

Yes. All files transfer to you on delivery with no restrictions on use: delivery apps, Google Business Profile, printed menus, signage, all of it. The crops each platform's aspect ratios call for are written into the scope during the intro call.

Our menu changes with the season — do we reshoot from scratch every time?

No. On the first shoot we record the lighting setup, the background and the framing; the next season only the new dishes get shot and the set still hangs together. Since the source files are yours, your own team can handle the small edits in between.

We are outside Istanbul — do you travel?

We do. The studio is in Istanbul, but we travel with the crew for anything that needs a shoot; transport and accommodation appear as their own line items in the quote rather than hidden inside the price.
